Teachings on Buddhism and Meditation: Missoula
Mondays: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join David Curtis each week in Missoula for Tibetan Buddhist teaching and meditation. By gently applying ancient Buddhist perspectives and techniques to our busy daily lives, we can gradually transform ourselves and our relationships in every aspect of life.

Beginning with a recitation of Tibetan texts and a brief guided meditation, David will share a further short episode in the story of the Buddha’s life, and then continue his series of teachings on the book Meditation in Action. We’ll be reading from and discussing the final chapter, "Wisdom", which is the sixth of the Six Perfections.

Please note that we will not be holding our regularly scheduled meetings during the month of August or the first week of September. Regular meetings will resume Monday, September 9, 2019.

Morning Meditation: Missoula
Tuesdays: 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Our Tuesday Morning Meditation includes recitation and meditation, as well as reading and discussion of The Fragrance of Emptiness, A Commentary on the Heart Sutra, by Anam Thubten. The Heart Sutra is probably the most important book in Buddhism. And in this commentary on it Anam Thubten in his characteristic manner very clearly explains many of its most important ideas.

Please note that we will not be holding our regularly scheduled meetings during the month of August or the first week of September. Regular meetings will resume Monday, September 9, 2019.
